200,000 baht Donation to the Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind
At a recent weekly meeting of the Rotary Club Jomtien-Pattaya PDG, PP Peter Malhotra presented our Honorary Member, PP Sutham Phanthusak with a cheque for 200,000 baht as RCJ-P’s contribution to the new Pattaya Redemptorist School for the Blind.
PP Sutham Phanthusak, a prominent businessman in Pattaya, is the chairman of the fund raising committee for this new building.

There has long been a need for this new school in which the students will be taught a skill which will help them to get a job and become self-sufficient for life.

The School for the Blind, in Naklua, is part of the Father Ray Foundation. It was founded in 1986 by Fr. Ray with the help of Mrs. Aurora Sribuapan, who is herself blind

There are over 170 students boarding and studying for free. The school is one of eleven schools for blind children in the Kingdom.
